How do I use my FASE® Snowboard Bindings?

I just bought a pair of FASE® snowboard bindings, how do I use them?

While it may be daunting to try and learn, it couldn't be easier to figure out this revolutionary new two-strap system.

Follow along below for some helpful tips in getting your new FASE® bindings ready to use.

Back to blog

First you want to mount your snowboard how you would with any other pair of bindings. Make sure your stance width and binding angles feel comfortable for your lower body.

Put your snowboard boots on and let's set up your new bindings!

Next, fold the AutoBack highback back to the open position and practice inserting your boot. After years of getting in and out of traditional snowboard bindings this may feel weird at first, no worries! With a bit of practice this will become second nature.

Once your foot is flat in the binding and the AutoBack has closed, adjust your toe strap to your ideal position by ratcheting it down. We suggest making sure the toe strap is centered on your boot for a more comfortable experience. Once you have your toe strap adjusted perfectly you won't have to touch it again!

Finally all you have to do is buckle down the FastStrap ankle strap. Since the ankle strap is already engaged, you will only need one hand to strap in. Again, we would suggest making sure the strap is centered over your boot for the most comfortable riding experience.

It really is that easy to use your new FASE® Fast Entry snowboard bindings! Check out our easy to follow graphics below for tips on getting in and out of your FASE® bindings.

Entry Guide

OPEN MODE

Wide entry, all ways down.
Hint: Kick the AutoBack forward to fold it flat for skating, chairlifts and storage.

STEP 1

Insert your boot into the binding and engage the toe strap.
The AutoBack automatically closes around your boot while the Locked-In Toe Strap remains in desired position.

STEP 2

Buckle down the FastStrap ankle strap.
Because the ankle ladder strap is already engaged, only one hand is required to strap in to your preferred flex.

Exit Guide

RIDE MODE

Snug fit for optimized security and ultra-responsive performance.

STEP 1

Simply unbuckle the FastStrap ankle strap like a traditional two-strap binding.
Reminder to stop when the FastStrap catches to stay secure for early re-entry.

STEP 2

Bend your knee slightly, lift your heel and exit the binding.
The AutoBack automatically opens for ease of exit.
