Ultraflex Ankle Strap

I loved the new straps. They felt like less pressure on my ankles. But the second time I used the straps my Rome bindings that were only 2 years old snapped r on the high back aluminum piece. I went with Rome bindings because I thought they would be stronger than Burton's plastic ones but I was wrong. My plastic Burton malivita bindings are twice as old and are still functional, but my Rome bindings half the age and double the price broke. So I won't be buying Rome anymore.

I have an old pair of 2016 Rome SDS Targa bindings which are well outside of the warranty window and timeframe that they make exact replacement parts for. One of my ankle straps was starting to break and I wanted to replace it. I ordered these, and sure enough, they are more or less a drop in replacement! Works great with the original ladders. I ordered new buckles as well, but it looks like my old buckles would have been compatible if needed. The only slight difference is that these don't have an attachment spot for the elastic strap that would pull the ankle strap out of the way when not strapped down, but I just removed those. No big deal. I have yet to take them out yet, but I'm sure they'll be great. I was just stoked that I can get some more life out of an 8+ year old pair of bindings still!

Do yourselves a favor and update your ankle straps! Totally worth the 70 bucks
