Armed with a new highback, upgraded ProGrip toe and UltraLight ankle straps, PivotMount for customization and an eye for unlikely features, the Vice is all in.
I have had these bindings for two years and absolutely love them. They are great for all kind of writing is the perfect stiffness I absolutely love them on the rome ravine and or the stale a crewzer. They are very versatile binding and I have no complaints they are awesome
It's the third time i write some survey, and nobody seems to give a damn about the citron i received. Your customer service told me if its used i cant get my money back. Wtf... this is a 400$ scam whoop by the window. Did you ever did snowboard in your life to told me that the bracket is easily breakable ? After one single little push with my feet, the plastic bracket broke in half? Of course i put so much energy in the action of this (sarcasm).... -,- I'm thinking about never buy from you again and never recommend to friends. You guys sell and thats it, f** what happen to customer after! Greeeat after sell services..
I came from union bindings over to Rome from the advice of Angry Snowboarder. The tip to tail flex allows for greater range of motion on that axis. However, the heel to toe stiffness is still there for carves. Toe straps are great, I wish the heel straps were the same material, but I’d rather save money with the heel straps over the katana. It’s comfortable for the most part.
Ratchets are easier on the vice vs the union force.
The union force gave some uncomfortable pressure on top of my foot, but I did not get it with the vice.
Based on Angry’s review, and my experience so far, in switching from union to Rome.
Everything look sharp, but at first binding of the day (fix was virgin) i tryed to push with my feet (not kick! Pushed...) the strap and it broke in half. Customer services sayed that is my fault and that there is no warranty on this because the parts are remplacable. I mean, i had some rome sds390 ( the hawaiin nude girl) before that and i had them couple of years. Nothing like that ever happen. So how is that possible that a strap broke in two on my first ride? I don't recommend this product and at your own risk if something happen to you with this. I can't get my money back on a citron like we call in french (defect product)...
These bindings are awesome! Very comfortable, smooth ratcheting and the toeside fits perfect!
Built to maximize tweakability and a surfy board feel, our innovative AsymWrap platform started the conversation about how bindings can and should ride.
A Rome exclusive binding innovation, PivotMounts are small adjustable pieces that allow riders to move the position of their ankle straps on their boots. The higher up on your boot the ankle strap sits, the more power and turn initiation. The lower the strap goes, the more surfy and tweakable your riding will be.
PivotMount offers 4 different positions of ankle strap placement per side of the strap, 16 total configurations are possible.
Designed so riders can adjust their highbacks to mirror the angle of their heelside edge for maximum power transfer.
Created to help fit a wider range of boot models and sizes.
