They've been everywhere. On top of global podiums, deep in the Alaskan backcountry, under the feet of some of the most viral street clips of the year. The Rome Signature Series helps power pro snowboarders Rene Rinnekangas and Stale Sandbech (among many other team riders) to push their riding to its limits.
We worked closely with Rene and Stale to make their dream boards from the bottom up. Starting with all of the tech, camber profiles, and flex required to make sure what's under the hood can stand up to the rider's demands.

24/25 Rome Rene-Gade
The Rene-Gade, Rene Rinnekangas' 90's inspired hard charger starts with our premium SinterSpeed base. We add positive camber, our super lightweight SuperPop Core and a Carbon Omega Directional Triple HotRod configuration to pack this board absolutely full of pop and responsiveness. To finish it off we include Twin Flax Walls and Flax Impact Plates for stability, even more pop, and enough impact absorption to keep Rene lapping all day long. Don't let the retro shape and graphic fool you. This beast is packed with all of the new-age tech you could ever need to wind up on the podium of the biggest global contests.
24/25 Rome Stale Crewzer and Stale Fish
Although he took a step back from the contest scene a few seasons ago to focus on filming video projects, Stale Sandbech still demands performance from his snowboards. With his input we fine tuned his pro models with a 'ride everything' approach while specializing in certain terrain. Both the Stale Crewzer and Stale Fish employ our low maintenance SinterStrong base for a high performance ride without the need to wax your snowboard too frequently. Carbon HotRods and Pop Core finish the internal makeup of these boards leading to the perfect blend of pop, durability, and a touch of playfulness, all without needing your own personal board tech to maximize performance. Talk about the ideal daily drivers.
The shaping of the Stale Crewzer and the Stale Fish allows them to really shine. A refined Directional Twin shape on the Stale Crewzer allows Stale (as well as a plethora of team, in-house, and customers alike) to cruise through any terrain, snowpack, or feature without breaking a sweat. Freestyle forward with enough oomph behind it for general all mountain marauding means when the weather changes your snowboard can stay the same. If powder is more your thing then the wider setback directional nature of the Stale Fish will have you floating through powder refills with ease. Less leg burn, more pow turns.
