I bought this board and have only ridden it 7 or 8 times in the last year. The top sheet is folding up and cracking on both sides of the board in the exact same spot just outside the binding inserts. I ride very mellow, there are not even scratches on the base or side walls, and I am 30 pounds below the listed upper limit for the weight range of the board. I reached out to customer service and they said the damage was “due to some variant of impact or normal wear and tear” which is completely unreasonable for the little time I have spent on this board and for the kind of riding I do. The build quality on this board has proven to be poor. If you want buy board that you can ride for more than a year I would strongly recommend that you do not buy one of these boards.

Perfect board for everything, as a snowboard instructor this board is great for teaching kids on those nice groomers, jumps in the park and perfect for buttering and carving. And beast in the pow, the flex in the board really allows you to tail press in the snow and lift up the nose above the snow.

Feel super smooth on rails and the rod carbon is a cool feature

I’m 5’10 ,175lbs, size 11 boot. I ride a 155W. The board is absolutely amazing. Great for park laps and the feel is perfect. Jibs feel great on this board and the pop is insane. Love how the nose and tail are “double kinked” saved me from a lot of close calls in the park. The flex feels good as well. If you plan on riding park features or new to riding park. 10/10 would recommend. All mountain riding is alright, the board is too soft for it, but park laps it can hold its speed.

I have been riding the artifact for over a decade and it just keeps getting better and better. I work park crew on the east coast so my boards are always put to the test. The artifact has always had my back in the park. From locking in on rails to carving on cords and even ripping through the woods these boards produce! I’ve been a Rome guy for almost as long as they have been around, I stand by the product they put out!

Great park board for rails and everything else; also, because it's stiffer than the normal artifact, it can handle big air.

I don’t care what “impact damage” you do the layers should never peel apart I’ve never seen it and I have boards I’ve destroyed from when I was first learning. I’m told I won’t get warranty and my emails are being ignored. The board is peeling around the entire board after my first day on the mountain. These boards are super cheaply made and they won’t own up to their mistakes to make it right. Highly recommend to avoid this brand of boards. It had also came with a dent on the edge that I avoided because I didn’t feel like dealing with the hassle of getting ahold of them come to find out they woulda just told me I was beat anyway.

Unbelievable feel.. I am on the east coast and felt great cruising and in the park.
