Bodega Boa

The Bodega is a plush, tweak happy boot with a medium-flex pattern that doesn’t skimp on performance. New for this season, we overhauled our inner HeelLock Harness for smoother entry and additional ankle and heel hold. Built with PRO F.I.T. Liners for a buttery smooth flex that still lets riders keep their foot on the gas, the Bodega is designed around the philosophy that a great boot doesn’t have to be overly firm. A favorite of park lappers and riders who want “melt on your foot” out of the box comfort, the Bodega is a reliably smooth serial chiller of a boot.

Poor Quality

The front boot "reinforcement" is a joke. It's a super soft rubber that after 4 days of normal slope interaction looks worse than my 10 year old boots from another brand...
I also confirm that the top BOA needs to be tightened constantly until you reach a point where you cut your foots circulation at the anckle, just to not feel loose on the leg bone.
Also why tf did you not use STEEL wire on the BOA...Can't wait to hit lace with the edge of my board by mistake and cut it...ruining my ski trip (this is on me cause I was in a hurry at the shop).
Will avoid like the plague in the future...
Do BETTER!

not for the price...

look good and feel good at first. but after two hits youll be tightening the boas even more. You end up tightening them so much that your feet lose circulation and it just ruins the ride... also the unresponsiveness makes thing so much more difficult. had to adjust my high backs to literally dig into my calve to do anything. Please look into other boots before buying...

Fits good but bad material quality

They fit and feel great but the problem is in the material and the BOA. After a few days you already see wear and tear on the fabrics + scratches on the tip from your bindings. The boa often needs to be tightened after each run and sometimes the click open. Rome clearly used cheap materials for these boots.

Don’t waste your money.

I just started boarding last year and all my boards and bindings are Rome. So why not get the Rome boots to match the setup? I was very stoked at first. After only 5 days of riding these boots the boa system will not stay locked in. The whole run I’m just bending down tightening up the boa. I like medium stiffness on boots. First couple of days boots worked fine but on day 4 it started to degrade and by day 5 they were marshmallows. Due to the boa loosening up I have very bad board control. On the cosmetic side the toe cap material is very cheap and you will scratch it soon as anything touches it. Not a super big deal but they definitely should be more durable on the toes. I contacted Rome and these mf told me to take my boots to the shop I bought them from and that will be the most efficient way to get back out there before the end of season. No I told them I’m selling these boots and gonna find a system that works for me. Sadly Rome lost a customer. I was always down like there motto and now I’m absolutely not! I’m going back to ThrirtyTwo! I’m super salty 😂

Avoid at all Costs

Do not buy these boots, or any boots from Rome. One day of snowboarding and my left boot's toe is chewed up and has several gashes in it. They are clearly made of very low quality material. The cable for the boa system on these boots is extremely flimsy as well, it's unbelievable that they would cheap out on the system that tightens the boot on your foot. On my left boot the cable is hanging on by a thread, this is also after one day of riding. I reached out to Rome support and they told me their warranty doesn't cover any damage of any sort. I believe they are very much aware of these issues and are choosing to change their policies rather than do right by their customers. Heed the warning of this review and others, spend your money elsewhere.
