I’ve had the Cleavers for two seasons now and really dig these bindings. I bought into Rome bindings because of the adjustability and tech offered ,and I have had a great experience so far. The adjustments allow me to fit my size 12 boots snugly without pressure points, and the Cleavers offer a great mix of responsiveness and dampness underfoot. I’ve yet to encounter any issues, so 5 stars from me dawg.
Out off the box these things look and feel better than I could have imagined. Super solid construction, really comfortable with my boots, strap release works better than any binding I've owned and the adjustability is wild!
Can't wait to get them on and off piste. I have a feeling I'll be riding these until the wheels fall off, or mine do!
Amazing binding!!! Adjustability is just insane. Allow me to deeper my carves in the grooms and increase mu confidence on high speeds.
I bought the CLEAVER a few weeks ago to install on a carving board. I was really curious to test with all the adjustments. I was PLEASANTLY surprised!! The damping, the perfect fit of the 2 straps and the fully adjustable highback will probably mean that I will sell the first pair of carbon bindings (competitor brand) that I have on my main board to buy a second pair of CLEAVER. I 100% recommend these bindings and the quality is great!!
Due to the flex of the ankle strap the stiffness is lost on toeside, too much flex for the rated stiffness of the rest of the binding, pretty disappointing.
