Our game changer of a chassis that revolutionized the idea of connected-comfort. The AsymWrap heelhoop features three connection points to the base allowing for a surfy ride, plenty of board feel, without sacrificing tweak or edge-to-edge response.

Katana

The Katana is a lightweight, hyper-responsive, game changer of a binding. Built on the surfy and playful AsymWrap platform and the locked-in hold of the all-new UltraFlex Pro ankle straps, powered by AuxTech®, the Katana is pure all-mountain performance. A team rider and in-house favorite, the Katana is cult classic thanks to the next level adjustability of PivotMount Max and its freakishly lightweight design.

Great for tweaking your style

Bought these because I wanted responsive and precise freestyle bindings that were adjustable, comfortable, and would still let me tweak out anything I wanted to do. The Katanas fit the bill perfectly. I dig the AsymWrap and really think it accomplishes what it sets out to do perfectly. The metal heelcup construction offers stability and responsiveness, but the dampening underfoot helps make for a stable and comfortable ride. Plus you can tweak the pivotmount to get your ride to be more precise or more surfy; mine are slammed to surf on my freestyle decks, and I love the way they play. Haven’t had any issues to date and hope to keep on rockin that way.

No snow yet

Coming off genesis binders for the last 5yrs. I’m excited to see what these katanas are all about. Other reviews are good, I’m hoping the y are as Cush as they claim.

Rome Customer Service Sucks

Avery would not make THEIR mistake correct!!!! This is what I ordered, See attached Picture, and they sent me the Black Katanas. They will not pay for shipping to correct their error.... In fact you have to pay shipping back to them, then they have to credit you back and finally you have to reorder and pay again..... So messed up "Worst Customer Service Ever." I will not be shopping with Rome again, they dont care about their customer. Dont work with Avery, I believe she controls all emails going in, I could not even speak with her boss.... Ridiculous No Stars from me if there was a negative button I would be pushing it to the max.

Like wearing nothing at all

These bindings fit better than any other. My Malavita's died midseason and when I put these on the board, it was a revelation. My feet don't get tired and I feel so much more planted. Setting them up took about an hour, so plan for that and don't screw them on in the parking lot. I got them for my daily freestyle deck, but snow came in and today I was ripping through steep pow lines with crusty windblown segments, and they were just as good freeriding as for freestyle.
